When I heard Michael Rosenblum speaking at the Newsworld Conference in Barcelona about video journalism, it were as if I came home again. I was fed up with the terror of technique and wanted to be free at last. In the old days, when I worked for the newspaper, I did whatever I wanted as a journalist. When I came to work for television, I suddenly got a whole team around me and I really didnt like it. I just wanted to go, stay, and walk where I wanted to, and thats exactly what video journalists are doing: to be free to decide to do what, how, where, when and why.
